    This is my first Hard Drive enclosure and for someone like me who isn't overly familiar with the inner workings of a computer it was fairly simple to install.
    The enclosure comes with everything you need to fit your hard drive into the box (screws, cables and a screwdriver).
    The exterior is glossy and feels sturdy.The stand doesn't have much heft to it but it feels sturdy as well.

    It took me about 10 minutes to figure everything out and plug it in to my computer. So for most people it would take less than 5 minutes.

    No drivers were needed for windows 7. The included booklet tells you how to format and partition your hard drive if you're using a new disc.

    The hard drive I used in the enclosure was an old IDE drive that I wanted to use to backup my data. The transfer speed was zippy and I have had no problems whatsoever getting it to work.

    Since this enclosure does not come with a fan I would not recommend it for prolonged use, but as a back up device I think it's perfect.
