Mobile Money is an ingenious payment platform that is linked to your cellular phone and allows you to transfer funds from one virtual account to another. This will allow you to pay for goods and services and send funds to family and friends by topping up your account. In addition to making payments from your cell phone, you can create an account on Coolbiz's website and make payments directly from there.

Creating an account

To create an account online, follow these instructions:

• Click here to visit the 'Sign Up' page of Coolbiz's website.
• Fill in the requisite information accordingly.
• In the 'Sponsor's Phone Number' box, type 5382837.
• In the 'Sponsor's Surname' box, type SEW.
• Hit create account.
• Take note of your account number and your PIN (PIN will be required for transactions).
• You are now ready to make payments, transfers, etc.

To create an account using your cell phone, follow these instructions:

• Compose the following message on your cell - JOIN {Your First Name} {Your Last Name} {Optional: RETAIL}. Compose the message without the curly brackets.
• Send that message to 125 (Lime) or 444-2491 (Digicel) and await a confirmation message.
• You are now ready to make payments, transfers, etc.

Topping up your account

Adding funds is easy, as Coolbiz has partnered with Paymaster and have set up facilities in their Cool Oasis Stations, to make things simple and convenient. In addition to that, you can go to any Paymaster, Bill Express, NCB, First Caribbean or Scotia branch, to fund your mobile money account; or you can fund it using the banks' online platforms. Simply instruct the cashier or teller that you'd like to add 'x' amount of money to your Coolcard account and they will facilitate your order; or go to your bank's online platform, go to the bill pay section and search for 'Coolcards and make your payment there. In either case, you will need your 10 digit account number, which can be found by logging in to your account on Coolbiz's website and then going to the 'My Account' page; or by texting G A to 125 (Lime) or 444-2491 (Digicel)from your cell phone (free of charge).
